Santa Barbara Sights & Things to Do

There are no shortage of sights to see and things to do in Santa Barbara. Some of the traditional favorite sightseeing spots are: the Old Mission Santa Barbara and picturesque Rose Garden, and the County Courthouse where you can climb the tower and look out over the city.  In the waterfront area, East Beach is a perfect place to relax and perhaps play a game of volleyball, Stearns Wharf is a fun place to stroll, shop and even fish. Also in the waterfront area is the quaint Santa Barbara Zoo, the Maritime Museum and the scenic breakwater. Santa Barbara is also home to the University of California Santa Barbara, Westmont College and other esteemed learning institutions that are worth a tour. Nearby, there is the world-famous Lotusland botanic gardens and over the hill are a number of award winning vineyards and wineries that are perfect for a relaxed day trip.
