Sue Irwin is a full-time Realtor serving buyers and sellers in the greater Santa Barbara area, including Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, Summerland and Carpinteria. She provides her clients with no-nonsense information about the local real estate market, and she maintains a patient and down-to-earth attitude in order to get transactions closed smoothly and happily. Sue enjoys getting to know her clients in order to best help them reach their goals. Her straightforward approach has lead her to be among the top-selling real estate agents in the Santa Barbara area, continually performing in the top 10% of all Berkshire Hathaway agents nationwide. In 2017 she reached the top 1% level of the all Berkshire Hathaway agents in the country.

One of Sue’s biggest goals is promoting professionalism among Realtors so homebuyers and sellers get the service they deserve from dedicated and skillful real estate professionals. To this end, Sue served five years on the Board of Directors of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors and was Chair of the Association’s Education Committee and the Statistical Review Committee. She writes Sue’s News, a regular real estate market update, and submits her updates to local papers on behalf of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors. And, in addition to running her own real estate sales business, she mentors new agents at Berkshire Hathaway’s Santa Barbara office.

Sue regularly pursues continuing education opportunities to keep herself¬†on top of market trends,¬†new regulations, and how changes affect her clients’ real estate experiences. Aside from attending numerous classes and workshops throughout the year, she has earned designations as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource, GREEN real estate agent, Accredited Buyer Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Certified Residential Specialist.
