BASSH
A long-time Santa Barbara entertainment favorite for the last 20 years, BASSH will showcase a wide variety of social dance genres theatrically choreographed by local dance professionals. BASSH, which brings together a colorful and diverse roster of choreographers and dancers from several genres. Our mission is to inspire everyone to participate in the exciting world of dance, while promoting Santa Barbara area dance studios, choreographers, teachers, and dancers.The show often sells out all two of its weekend performances.
Producer Derrick Curtis and his creative and talented team of professionals Roxana Bonderson, Alexandra King, and Jatila van der Veen are planning a truly extraordinary to sizzle for this special 20th anniversary of Santa Barbara’s longest-running stage dance show that is now a performing arts cultural icon for one of the most beautiful cities in the country.

In it’s twentieth year, BASSH has become an icon of the performing arts and ONE of the longest-running dance shows in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara! This year’s anniversary show will feature a wide variety of social dance styles, theatrically choreographed by many top-notch local dance professionals.
Derrick Curtis and his team of talented professionals, Alexandra King, Jatila van der Veen and Roxana Bonderson, will bring together a diverse roster of choreographers and dancers from many genres, to create a sizzling program of spectacular dances!
For twenty years BASSH has WOW’D the Santa Barbara community and this year anniversary show will top them all!
