in homage to the Trappist tradition of beer-making, with a vision for creating beers that represent the unique terroir of Santa Barbara: from sage foraged out of our foothills to navel oranges harvested from our neighbors’ back yard.
Our enthusiasm for delicious, well-crafted beer has expanded and evolved to include other classic styles such as kolsch, pilsner, wit, and the latest IPAs all made with local ingredients that represent the very best of Santa Barbara.
A FAMILY PASSION, PASSED ON THROUGH GENERATIONS
Third Window founder Kristopher Parker is quick to explain where his passion for fermentation came from: he’s the son of a winemaker.
His father, Eli Parker, served as head winemaker at Fess Parker Winery for more than 15 years as the label blossomed into an example of the very best that Santa Barbara County winemaking has to offer.
A generation before him, Eli’s father, Fess Parker, himself was a beer lover, known to enjoy Chimay and other Belgian styles.
It’s the family connection that inspires Kristopher to explore and experiment, while always making sure his commitment to quality does the Parker name proud.
