What is Unity?
Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and celebrates the Oneness that connects us all. Just as our name suggests, Unity focuses on our similarities, not our differences.
Unity was founded more than 100 years ago during the time of the transcendentalists such as Emerson and Thoreau. Our co-founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, realized the power of experiencing God within each of us: how we move, live, and have our being, rather than an outer Deity. Unity is often called “spiritual not religious.” Instead of religious dogma, Unity teaches affirmative prayer and meditation to connect with one’s Divine nature.
Unity is a place to begin to live the life you were born to love!
