At Toma, we are committed to sourcing and providing the best wines at the greatest value for our guests. We take great care in selecting and creating our wine lists, with a focus on those ‘hidden gems’ selected from various Italian as well as local vineyards and wineries for the perfect pairings.
Our Executive Chef, Charles de L’Arbre, joined the Toma team in 2016 while attending the culinary program at Santa Barbara City College. Raised here, Charles has a great appreciation for our local bounties and creatively incorporates seasonal local finds to complement our Italian-inspired Mediterranean menu for a truly unique dining experience. An avid home cook from a young age, Charles was heavily influenced by his well-traveled grandmother, who shared her passion for European culture and cuisine. Under Chef Nat Ely’s mentorship, Charles honed his culinary skills, eventually advancing to Executive Chef. An enthusiastic musician and artist, he enjoys his free time at the beach and cooking for friends and family.
